TwitchCon 2019 and beyond
TwitchCon is a convention centered around the Twitch community. Attendees can meet streamers, play games, watch esports, hang out with friends, grab new merch, and so much more
I supported as a design director and lead individual contributor, providing majority of the core wayfinding design, graphics, 3D, and activations within the convention space including Twitch Rivals, Loot Cave, and main booth. In addition, our team was tasked with evolving and scaling Twitch's new branding, which was tested and unveiled at this particular TwitchCon. We were deeply involved in iterating the brand to be print and event-ready even as the event ran.
On the graphic production side, we also developed a system to differentiate between directional and event & branding opportunities. This was necessary to timely track and implement any new brand development at an event of this scale and ensure a comfortable attendee experience.

Our early pre-event TwitchCon brand and experiential development were closely aligned with the alpha version of Twitch rebrand. However, the event branding evolved significantly through multiple iterations both before and during the event. Key changes included scaling back the bright, saturated color palette to allow for more flexible print options, and replacing certain graphic assets—such as Ninja (a top streamer)—following his departure from Twitch to the Kick streaming platform.
To optimize design and iteration, we developed a Google Slide overview and approval system that provides smooth sign-off of assets and differentiation between directional and event & branding opportunities. I can a sample breakdown via screen share upon request.
