Mechanical Keyboard Photos
I’ve been a mechanical keyboard enthusiast for the past eight years, watching the community grow rapidly—from around 300k to 670k subscribers on Reddit’s /r/mechanicalkeyboards in just one year—and rise to become the #1 most-viewed topic in Twitch’s Makers & Crafting category. This once-niche hobby has exploded to the point where demand for custom keyboards and accessories now far exceeds supply. It’s been incredible to witness this growth firsthand, and I’m excited to see where the future takes it.
As a custom keyboard builder, I’ve found that the design process strongly ties back to my industrial design background. Elements like surface finishing, precision machining, and user experience all play critical roles. While privately developing my own keyboard design, I’m also honing my product photography skills to professionally showcase the work of fellow designers.
